American Civil War Museum of Ohio

007
Story boards and small artifacts tell the story of the Civil War with a slight emphasis on participation by Ohio soldiers.

Park in the back lot to use the ramp to access the museum. The admissions desk is located in the front. A buzzer sounds when the door is opened so someone will come to help you if you can’t find the desk. The museum is accessible but the basement level is reached by a chair lift which requires a transfer. Since I’m not comfortable using this type of lift, we visited the first floor only.

The parking lot is big enough for RVs but there is only one entrance so turning around might be a problem if your RV is large. A free city lot is located just a little bit north on the opposite side of the street.  Museum
