Mosquito Lake Campground

034 copy
We didn’t stay here but since we were driving right by we stopped to check it out. The campground is small, maybe five sites, right on the lake with a wonderful view of the mountains. The website says $10.00 for camping. The Haines tourist paper say free. We didn’t see a fee collection box.We didn’t notice a lot of mosquitoes.

None of the sites are marked as handicapped but the tables have long overhangs and the camp sites have short grass and hard packed dirt.

The road into the campground is steep with a sharp curve. People with large RVs might want to do a walk through first. Campground

  2. Yeah ,it is! There are so many great camping and boondocking spots up here especially if you have a small RV.
